Cookies
This site does not set any. That is the whole notice, but here is the detail.
No cookies, no banner
Your Person Abroad sets no cookies, uses no analytics, and loads no advertising or social-media trackers. There is nothing to consent to, which is why you are not being asked to dismiss a banner to read this page.
Why there is no banner
Consent banners exist because sites place cookies that are not strictly necessary, usually for analytics or advertising. This site does neither, so under the ePrivacy rules and the GDPR no consent is required.
What the site does store
Nothing in your browser. The language you are reading is part of the web address rather than a stored preference, which is why you can bookmark or share a page in a specific language and get that exact page back.
What happens if that changes
If I ever add something that does set a cookie, this page will say so before it goes live, and anything beyond the strictly necessary will ask you first.
For what happens to the information you send me through the contact form, see the privacy page.
